A robe with golden nuances, an enchanting nose of quince jelly, banana and candied fruits that return on the palate. A rich, sweet yet balanced wine, with a slight bitterness on the finish that beautifully reflects the typicity of Johannisberg. Made from the Sylvaner grape, it expresses itself superbly in this overripe version.

Gastronomy
This wine would pair beautifully as a starter with a scallop carpaccio dressed with citrus and thin slices of Golden apple. It also works wonderfully with fresh goat cheese confit with apricots, or with salted sérac drizzled with a touch of olive oil. For dessert, it complements fruit tarts (apricot, peach) or a classic tarte Tatin.
