Johannisberg Grand Cru from Chamoson

Our Johannisberg Grand Cru de Chamoson 2024 has been awarded Best Johannisberg of Valais at the prestigious Sélection des Vins du Valais 2025.

This wine comes from a secret vineyard nestled at the foot of the majestic Haut de Cry cliff.

On this limestone soil lies an old parcel of Johannisberg, unique in its kind.

Our viticultural team, led by Thomas Remondeulaz, gives it the utmost care. Lightened of part of its clusters, the vines draw extraordinary energy from the minerals of this stony terrain, producing fruit of exceptional quality.

This parcel surpasses all others on the estate. The old vines, witnesses to a past rich in tradition, offer a slow and delicate maturation. To elevate these remarkable grapes, we partially vinify this wine in a foudre, a large oak cask.

It is within this vessel of noble wood that the Johannisberg Grand Cru develops grand, fruity and floral aromas, with notes of pear and bitter almond. Barrel ageing enhances its bouquet, envelops its structure and lengthens the palate, offering an unforgettable tasting experience.

Let yourself be captivated by this exceptional wine, and carried away by the emotion contained in every bottle.
