The Luisier family matures exceptional cheese treasures for you — discoveries made throughout their explorations and patiently aged in their centuries‑old cellars in the heart of Valais, in Leytron. Once they reach full maturity, these cheeses reveal all their complexity and character.
For this gourmet experience, Claude Luisier and John Boven have crafted a subtle pairing between 6 estate wines and 10 cheeses selected directly from the affineur’s cellars.
Each pairing is designed to highlight the textures, aromas, and identity of these artisanal products.
The buffet is complemented by the artisanal bread of Stefano Gobbi – Boulangerie 1955 “Pain du Bon Diu”, featuring his hazelnut and apricot creations, for an even more complete tasting experience.
Throughout the activity, we will explain the principles behind these food & wine pairings and why these handcrafted products resonate so harmoniously together.
